Today marks 7 years since Gwen and I first became a couple. She's made me so happy and gotten me through a lot of rough times. I don't know what I'd do without her and am so very grateful to have her.
Just thought I'd put that out there.

So, today I worked some overtime. I don't like working overtime, but it's nice to get big checks when you can. However, this was not a great day. It started with someone showing up late. That wouldn't be so bad, but he was the guy with all the badges, the blueprints and the information on what had to be done. Normally he wouldn't have had that much responsibility, and this is why. He ended up being 45 minutes late. We ended up missing out on pay because of it.
The other bad thing that happened is that I fell out of the storage trailer while I was climbing down. My foot caught on some cardboard and I went down. One of my coworkers was facing the other direction, but he felt me hit the ground. I had to finish out my day bleeding from the hand and knee (as seen here). It really hurts to type and I was going to do some gaming with Geoff anf Becca today. I just hope it heals enough that I'll be able to make the bread and spinach dip I was planning on bringing to Kate's wedding.
Also since my last update, I got a stand mixer. I've been using it to mix bread dough and have been baking bread pretty much every chance I get now. I've only made 2 kinds so far, but they're coming out pretty well considering our crappy oven. The main problem is that I now have 4 kinds of flour and no storage space. :) I'll be very, very happy when we have a bigger kitchen and I'll have room for more supplies and cookware.
